Synthetic numbers; this web preview does not connect to your accounts. Menu appearance varies with macOS.
Don’t let one of Tibo’s banked resets expire unused. A warning dot brings expiring banked resets back into view, so you can check them while there’s still time to use them.
Choose a warning window from 1 to 14 days ahead in Preferences. The dot flags the account; open the menu to see available banked resets and expiry dates.

When you work across AI tools, checking your allowance becomes another task. AIUsageWatch puts the useful part where you can see it.
The filled part of each bar is what remains. A shorter bar means less allowance left. Colour identifies the account, so a low balance doesn’t make every bar look the same.
Keep a small overview in the menu bar while you write, code or research. Open the menu when you want percentages, reset times or more detail.
Give each account its own name, colour and letter. Separate Claude and Codex configuration directories keep personal and work readings easy to recognise.
If a fetch fails, the last good reading stays visible. The menu explains the error and how old the number is, so a saved reading isn’t mistaken for a fresh one.
A small place in your day. Customise refresh timing, letters and percentage markers. Add accounts without squeezing every bar into a single column.
Ready when you are. Enable Open at login after installing the app in Applications. Use Refresh now whenever you want to request a new reading.
AIUsageWatch reads the information available for each provider. The bars share a visual language; the allowances they represent can have different periods and units.
See your weekly allowance and available five-hour window details. Use your Safari Claude session for the default account, or a separate Claude Code configuration directory.
How Claude tracking works ↗Read the main weekly allowance through the local Codex CLI. Add separate CODEX_HOME directories for separate logins. Saved session data provides a fallback.
How Codex tracking works ↗Use your Safari Cursor session to see Cursor’s included-usage figure and available reset time. That figure is shown on its own terms, without assuming it is a weekly quota.
How Cursor tracking works ↗Read weekly credit usage from Grok’s local unified log. Run Grok to update the source. Old logs and expired windows are labelled as historical.
How Grok tracking works ↗Keep your provider CLI signed in, or grant access to Safari’s cookie file for the supported web sessions. AIUsageWatch does not require its own account.
Open Preferences with ⌘, to edit labels, colours, letters and directories. Multiple Claude and Codex accounts can appear together.
See the remaining allowance at a glance, then click for reset times and reading status. Set a refresh interval and choose whether to open at login.
AIUsageWatch is a free native macOS menu bar app that displays remaining AI allowance for configured Claude, Codex, Cursor and Grok accounts. It requires macOS 14 or later. Public release is in preparation.
The filled part shows what is left. As allowance is used, the bar gets shorter. An exhausted account has no filled bar. Colour identifies the account; click the menu bar icon for percentages and available reset times.
Yes. When Codex provides available banked reset expiry information, the app can show a warning dot before expiry. Enable Warn before reset and choose 1–14 days ahead in Preferences; the default is two days. Open the menu for banked reset counts and expiry dates. It depends on current provider data and the app running, and does not automatically use banked resets.
Yes. Configure separate Claude Code or Codex directories for separate logins, and give each account its own label, colour and letter. The default Claude account uses your Safari session; other Claude directories use their saved credentials. Cursor uses the available Safari session, rather than independent directory-based accounts.
No. Claude and Codex display weekly allowance information, with available Claude five-hour details. Cursor uses its own included-usage figure without assuming a weekly period. Grok reads weekly credit information from its CLI log. Equal percentages do not mean equal numbers of prompts, tokens or dollars.
The last good reading stays visible and is restored after relaunch. The menu reports the error and age of the saved reading. A cached or historical figure is not a live balance. Refresh now requests an update and bypasses error backoff.
Live usage readers contact the relevant provider using your existing authentication. When a live Codex weekly reading is 100% remaining, the app can also send one small request to start the weekly window. That consumes a small amount of allowance. Read the full starter behaviour, including relaunch and retry details.
